Be bold in globe trotting bikinis

South American swimwear line Solkissed is inspired by a few of designer Alejandra Boggiano’s favorite places: her birthplace of Peru, home state of California, and current dwelling, New York City. These three diverse locations all play a major factor in Solkissed’s bikini designs. The result is a creative combination of Latin aesthetics, laidback California cool, and sass sourced straight from the city that never sleeps.

Solkissed bikinis are handmade, original, and are designed for girls looking to showcase their confidence, sense of adventure, and flirty fun side. Styles are meant to show off a woman’s curves, not cover them. Bikini bottoms are either Brazilian or full coverage with a cheeky cut.

This year the line presents its 2014 Inca Sirena collection. Inspired by the beauty and diversity found in Boggiano’s native country, Peru. From the Amazon to Machu Picchu, Inca Sirena encompasses the country’s most breathtaking elements.

The collection is made up of bright colors and tribal prints on a variety of bikini styles and cutout one pieces. We love the unique elements of the wrap around Anita bikini top, which crisscrosses in the front and features cleavage enhancing push-up cups. The mix of print and solid color makes this top even more eye-catching. Pair it with the wide banded, low-rise La Jolla bottom.

Their swimsuits stand out this season with intricate details like braided trim and fine embroidery, which we see in the Maja triangle top and Machu Picchu bottom. The Machu Picchu triple string bikini features that handmade touch Solkissed Swimwear is known for.
