One of the things that drew us to Ete swimwear was its gorgeous color palette of dreamy pastels. The softness of the suits' prints reminded us of the best of nature, so we weren't hugely surprised that Ete designer Jess Williamson's favorite beach is a dreamy, Kodachrome-hued shore in Western Australia. No cars — and tiny, adorable marsupials? Rottnest Island, here we come!
"It is so hard to choose just one beach, but I’d have to say our not-so-secret-secret Rottnest Island right here in Western Australia (WA) is right up there on my favorites list. It's a tiny island off the coast of WA where there are no cars and the cutest native animals called quokkas (you must google them if you haven’t already!) around. The island is so quiet and peaceful, everyone rides bicycles around to the many bays and beaches. With pure white sand and turquoise waters, what more could you want?! A perfect day on Rottnest consists of riding our bikes around the island and discovering all the beautiful beaches, caves and perfect views." — Jess Williamson.
