Bikini styling tips from celeb stylist

Posted by Bikini Owner

Celebrity stylist-turned-swimwear designer Judy Len of Aikido is back to share her day-to-night styling tips. It's easier than you think to move from the beach to the bar — here, Judy designs two outfits around her own super-sultry Aikido #LBB. Going from beach to sunset cocktails has never looked this chic.

Judy says:

“Our Katsu Top is our best-selling style — girls are obsessed with it because they feel like they can wear it out and not just to the beach or pool. It’s extremely versatile and doubles as a top.

Pair it with The House of Harlow striped Mona pant — already it looks like an outfit rather than a swimsuit top. This top and bottom pairing is night and day friendly, the accessories and added lip color is all that differentiates a more casual daytime look than an evening attire. You don't have to bring a whole outfit to change later in the day, which can be annoying.

You can try a boho trendy chic look with a head scarf which is popular — but to me, less is more. The top is already very intricate with the extra bands, so I would keep it simple with a delicate body chain for night.

Strappy flat slip-on sandals look adorable with this striped pant and are comfortable enough for daylong activities. For evening, switch out of a larger beach tote to a small clutch. This shell clutch is very beachy but novelty enough to make you’re ensemble pop. I love a bright red lip but you can also do an on-trend matte nude color — it depends on your skin complexion. Skip a red lip if you were in the sun a little to long and have any red tint in your skin tone.

This top is extremely flattering on slim torsos and fits any bust. The double bands give an illusion of a narrower waist and highlights an hour glass figure when paired with a high-waist bottom. Cinching the waist flatters all body types and creates a nice silhouette.“
