When most people think of where I am from, they think of corn. And why not, corn is definitely the big thing in Iowa (along with wrestling, football and state fairs). My family had a huge cornfield in our back yard that we shared with the neighbors. Growing up, I was always a "meat and potatoes" kind of girl (like everyone from the Heartland, I guess!) but there was always a juicy corncob on the side!
