| How would you describe yourself?
I come off to be a little shy at first, but then I warm up and get my little funnies out and all that stuff. So I’m pretty bubbly most of the time, but overall my personality is pretty laid back and fun.
What would your friends say about you?
Friends would say that I am crazy, but really caring and sweet. I always look my best. I constantly have a dress on, my hair done. They always say I look like I’m ready to walk out and do a fashion show. Also my friends say I am there for them.
Tell us about your home.
The place where I grew up is probably about a medium-sized city. It grows every year, I swear. Every year we have a new movie theater or Starbucks. What I see in my hometown is corn. There is corn everywhere. I always think of Indiana Beach and going to the drive in. My hometown is a little bit of city, but you can always get country real fast.
Would you say you are a country girl?
Down heart I am a country girl, but if you looked at me you would never say that I am a country girl. But deep down I love fishing, going hiking, I have shown animals. I used to show hogs, cattle, and sheep. I enjoy being out on the farm and roughing it.
What do people compliment you on the most?
When people compliment me it is mostly my eyes. I think I have really pretty eyes, but that’s just me. But mostly people comment on my eyes. I’m a little short. I was supposed to grow two more inches, but I don’t think that’s going to happen. I have brown hair, kind of natural. My hair is actually a little lighter than this. I am petite. I wish I had a little bit more muscle to me, but its not really happening. I try all the time.
We heard about your favorite sweet…
My love for doughnuts…its out there. My favorite thing in the world. The best thing. It will probably do me in one day, but I can eat any kind of doughnut. Any kind of filling; chocolate, vanilla. Whatever it is, if you put a doughnut in front of me, I will eat it.
Do you think you are sexy?
I think I’m sexy because I still have a hometown look to me. And I am younger, but I can make it work. I can still pull of being cute and sexy at the same time. I think my most sexy asset is my bottom, but that’s just me.
What do people say is your nicest feature?
I usually get comment most on my face. Like I said earlier, my eyes: everyone always says, “Oh my gosh, you have such pretty eyes.” I think those are also my sexual features because I have really good eyes.
What is “sexy” to you?
Sexy to me in a guy is being funny, outgoing, and having a goofy smile. I don’t particularly care much for the structured, super high fashion look. I like them to have flaws. That is sexy to me. I like bigger guys that are built, but not too muscular. That is good to have.
Do you like when people stare at you?
I love going out and people looking at me. I know that it sounds conceited, but you can’t tell anybody that if you are walking and looking good and somebody looks at you---that you don’t feel good inside. I love people telling me that I am pretty. It just makes your overall look happier, and that is what I work for: to look good.
What do you say to people who might think you are conceited?
People may say that I am conceited in a way, just because I keep up on myself. I always like to have my hair and make-up done, but deep down it doesn’t matter. As long as I feel good, it doesn’t matter if somebody says my outfit is ugly. Deep down it doesn’t matter.
Is it all about looks?
I feel I am very beautiful inside. I could look the crappiest ever, but as long as I am happy with my friends and family--- if you are happy you glow. You could be all dolled up and everything, but if you are not happy inside, it won’t ever work. You have to have that deep inside beauty. You have to be happy and nice to everyone you meet. You have to have a good outlook on life—that is true beauty as long as you are not self-centered or anything like that.
What are your words of wisdom?
What are your words of wisdom?
My words of wisdom would be: Don’t take what other people say about you so seriously. If you feel that you are okay, then you are okay. Don’t let anyone tell you you aren’t good enough; that you need to change this to do that. Be yourself. Don’t turn into the typical everyday person that you see on TV and stuff like that. Just take what you have or embrace it—go with the flow.
Tell us about your struggle…
About a year and a half ago, I found out I had thyroid cancer. I had a benign tumor with cancer cells around it. I ended up having to have surgery to have it removed. It was a struggle for me because I wouldn’t have thought that anyone else would want to shoot someone with a scar so noticeable or close to my face. So it kind of hurt my self esteem a lot. I was so afraid they wouldn’t be able to cover it up or they would just take a look at me and be like, “No, I can’t have her walk down a runway or be on a TV show like that.” So it took a while for me to warm up to the idea where people didn’t necessarily notice it a lot because deep down I thought that people were staring at it. But noticing that nobody really cares if I have a scar has helped me a lot.
What makes you happy?
What makes me happy is to be able to sit and do what I want. If I want to draw—I love to do artistic stuff—then I am able to do that. Bringing joy to other people’s life makes me happy as well, like little kids. I love to baby-sit. It brings joy to my heart to see other kids benefit off of my happiness. I love to sew. It always calms me down if I’m mad or upset, if I sew some beads on a dress or hem something, it always takes the stress away from me. Also I’m a big lover of water sports. I love to be out on the lake. That is the most relaxing thing you can ever do: is to go sit out on a boat, in your bikini, read a magazine, go swimming, or just have fun. Relaxing like that makes everything go away.
