| What is it like being a Canadian girl?
Being from Canada, its great. The people are fantastic, the food is great, but it sucks that it is so cold there. I hate the snow.
So it makes it convenient that you are a swimsuit model, because you can hang out on the beach.
Yea, definitely! The beach is one of my favorite places in this whole entire world. So I actually feel very comfortable and in my element. So any time I can shoot on the beach, in a bikini, and its warm, it’s fantastic.
How did you become a swimsuit model?
I started becoming a swimsuit model probably when I like was 17 or 18 because I was always into athletics and sports and stuff; and naturally when you work out you can have a good body too, which is one of the core requirements for being a bikini model.
What kind of sports do you like?
All types of sports. I'm a fanatic about any type of sports. Bring me to any single live athletic event and I'm there, like game-ready to go. My favorite now to watch is football. Being from Canada originally I liked hockey, but now down here in the US it’s football, it’s a big sport. So I’m a huge fan of football now.
Do you like to play as well?
Yeah I love to play sports. I’ve been an athlete since I was like five years old. I was a college athlete for soccer and now I still play volleyball, I do yoga, and I run so I’m very much into sports.
Tell us a little bit about your personality, how would your friends describe you?
My personality is very outgoing and energetic. I enjoy meeting new people and going to new events. I love to travel so I just really love life
How would you describe yourself physically?
I’m 5’8”, blonde hair, blue eyes, and always laughing.
What makes you laugh? What do you like to do for fun?
I love being with my girlfriends, hanging out, drinking really good red wine, and eating fabulous food from all over the world. I enjoy working out. I enjoy shopping because obviously every girl does. Don’t lie. And just being with my family and friends really is the most important to me.
What do you think about when you’re modeling in your bikini? When you’re looking at the camera what are you thinking?
When I’m modeling what goes through my mind is having fun. Sometimes I’ll start thinking about things I have to do and I get sidetracked. And I’m like, “ Ok, no.” But in general it’s about having fun and just basically laughing at yourself.
What is sexy to you?
Sexy to me is confidence. If you don’t have confidence in yourself, if you aren’t at one with your inner self, you can’t have confidence and exude that confidence to other people. Therefore, even in relationships, be it friendships, be it boyfriends, be it whatever it is, you definitely have to have confidence. That’s the number one sexiest thing for me definitively.
Do you think you’re sexy?
Yes. I think I’m definitely sexy. I mean God gifted me and blessed me with a lot of different sexy attributes.
Tell us about the beach. What is it about the beach you love?
What I love about the beach is absolutely everything. Anything from palm trees, to the ocean, the salt water spraying up, that sense you get being warm, being one on one with nature. It’s fantastic. The warm sand between your toes when you’re walking. And obviously you have to have a fabulous pedicure; I mean you’re on the beach, right? I just love everything, every single element about the beach, about the ocean, about the whole environment. I just love it. I always have loved it. Even when I was younger and I was in Canada shacked up in the freezing cold, three feet of snow, still I would have postcards and pictures. I’ve just loved the ocean, the palm trees and the sand.
Where do you see yourself in five to ten years?
In five to ten years I am going to have my own company. It’s going to be a Canyon Ranch type health and wellness spa, and then it’s going to be a cuisine. All organic cuisine and everything like that. I’m going to do a lot of pro-bono work for women in regards to nurturing yourself and taking care of yourself, because I think that’s really important. Sometimes women in general tend to let it slide down because of other aspects of their lives. I think it’s really important to get everything back centered. As you grow older and accumulate, we can be just as sexy now as we are in our fifties. Because fifties now are the new thirties.
Do you have any words that you live by? Mottos that you grew up with?
My father always told me that “nothing good happens after two in the morning” as being one of my mottos. And I really do stick to that. Nothing good happens after two in the morning. So I always make sure I’m home, or at least leaving on the way back by two in the morning. And another motto I love is “Live. Laugh. Love.” That is what you have to do. You have those three elements and you just go with it. Just live life to the fullest.
Are there any special talents or unique quirky things you know how to do?
Any sort of talents? Well I mean I’m an athlete, so you know pretty much anything in regards to athletics. I’m a yoga instructor. I love to rollerblade; me and my girlfriend always put our hair on top of our heads and start rollerblading all around. Actually my attorney is really funny. One time my attorney saw me and he called me and he was like, “Was that just you rollerblading down the road?” and I was like, “Yeah, guilty!”
What kind of guys do you like?
The kind of guys I like unfortunately are tall dark and handsome, they have to be athletic, and I kind of like a rugged aspect too. They have to be like a man’s man. That’s what my father is, he’s a fantastic person, and I love him so much to death. I really do think that how he is and how he treats me, my sister and my mother, is a really great indication of how I judge what sort of guy I like. They definitely have to be mature, and have great etiquette, like opening my car door for me.
