| How would you describe yourself?
If I had to describe myself, I’m very talkative, very personable with everybody. I love to have a good time but I’m not too crazy and wild. Down to earth.
What are some of your goals?
My goals are to go back to massage therapy school and hopefully finish that. Maybe do a little bit more modeling along the way and get a spa of my own.
What do you like about being a massage therapist?
What I like about being a massage therapist, when I was in school, is that it’s about being healthy and holistic, and your energy. Everything about it, the healing properties that you have, working with people. It’s not sitting behind a desk all day. I’m up and moving about. It’ll keep me young.
When people hear that’s what you like doing, does everybody ask you to give them a massage?
The first thing that people say when I tell them that I’m a massage therapist or that I’m in massage therapy school is, “Oh my god, my neck, it hurts so bad, I have this problem right here.” It’s the first thing that comes out of their mouth.
What is sexy to you?
Sexy to me is personality, by far. I’ve met guys that are really cute and as soon as they open their mouth and say something cocky, it’s a turnoff. Somebody that is genuine and has more of those qualities about them is much sexier. And I’m a sucker for light eyes.
What’s your ethnic mix?
I’m half Filipino and half white. My mom was the Filipino and my dad was the white one. I was born in Virginia Beach and raised there till I was seven. Lived in Savannah, Georgia for seven years, then came back to Virginia when I was a freshman in high school, and I’ve been there ever since.
Tell us about the Philippines.
I went to the Phillipines this past winter and it was a great experience, it makes you very humble about living in the States and appreciating what you really have. Filipino women, all Asian women, to their men, they take very good care of them.
In what way?
We know how to pamper.
What is the real Kat like?
The real Kat, I started out being very quiet and very to myself, but now that I’ve been doing all this stuff like modeling and contests I’ve opened up a lot. I can talk to anybody, bring up conversations, go anywhere, do anything, I’m very open now.
What is your sense of style? Do you like shopping for bikinis?
I’m a shopaholic. Every tiny little detail matters to me, down to the color of the shoes, the color of the thread that’s in them, every little detail in the jewelry, the accessories. I’m huge on fashion, I love to pick little things out and make little outfits and make things exactly right for the exact event.
What makes you happy?
Ha! The first thing that came into my head was that shoes make me happy. What makes me happy is my family. I’m pretty close with my mom. And my dog. Everything at home, all my friends, and just having a good life. I know what it means to come from a bad life. I’m doing pretty good and I’m very proud of that.
