Linsey Toole is an all around animal lover. Playing Dr. Doolittle in her free time, she is a caring and nurturing kind of girl. She loves the cute and cuddly animals, but we think she’s pretty cute too! Check her out…

How would you describe yourself?

I think I’m pretty, fun, and energetic. I’m up for anything. I love to try new things and I’m an outdoorsy person.

Do you like animals?

I love animals more than anything. I’m not so big on snakes and stuff like that, but I love the furry kind that you can hold.

What is it about animals that you love?

Animals have their own kind of personality, no matter what kind of animal you have, it could be a turtle or a cat, and they all have different personalities. I love to train animals and take the ones that you never think somebody could hold and tame them.

What kinds of animals have you had?

I’ve had horses, cows, chickens, cats, dogs and turtles. My moms not big in to snakes, so snakes are a big no-no. Right now I have lots of unique animals like a sugar glider and peacocks. I’m like Doctor Dolittle at my house!

Tell us about what it’s like living at Doctor Dolittle’s house.

The animals get very jealous of each other. If I’m on the couch watching television, they’re fighting for my attention. They love me and I love them, so they just want my #1 attention, it’s kind of funny.

What are some of the more unusual animals you’ve had?

I’ve had squirrels, raccoons, any kind of animal that you find I love to have.

What would be your dream job?

My dream job would be to work in a zoo. When I was a little girl I used to want to be like Jack Hannah, traveling the World and seeing all different kinds of animals. Now that I’ve grown up I realize that probably won’t happen, but that was my dream when I was younger.

How would your friends describe you?

My friends would probably describe me as crazy! I’m goofy, sometimes I’m a little too goofy and don’t know when to be serious. My friends would say I’m pretty fun because I like to do anything.

What are you thinking about when you’re posing in front of the camera?

I get nervous; I’m not too good at sexy faces and things like that. Sometimes the photographer will turn up the music and I will start dancing. That always makes me feel better. Most of the time I’m not thinking of anything besides suck in your stomach and don’t forget to smile.

Tell us a little bit more about your personality. What’s the real Lindsey like?

I’m very outdoorsy; I love nature and everything about it. I’m not a big shopper or beauty queen. When I’m at home I don’t wear makeup and put my hair up. I like to be with my friends and family. I’m a big family person. I love my little sister, mother, and grandmother more than anything in the whole World. I’m not really prissy at all.

What is it about animals that’s so good?

I just love them. I worked at a hospital and they used animals to help the patients grow and become better. I feel like animals are kind of your soul, some people aren’t in to it and think I’m an animal freak, but some people get what I’m saying. Animals kind of heal you, they’re that friend, they don’t really have a comment to say about you, you can tell them whatever you want to, you can do what you want and they love you regardless. That’s why I like animals.

What kind of guys do you like?

I definitely don’t like pretty boys. I like guys that like to get dirty. I like to hunt and fish, so I’m pretty much in to guys like that. I like well-mannered guys who say Yes Ma’am and Yes Sir. It would be nice if they open the door for you. I was raised pretty prim and proper, my grandfather was a preacher, and so I like a guy that has something to believe in. I don’t like people who think that there’s nothing above them. I want someone who can go to bed at night, pray, and know that everything is going to be all right.

Lets talk more about the role faith plays in your lifestyle.

A lot of time it’s hard to do what I do. The modeling world is very competitive, if you want to keep up, the more you have to take off, which is hard when you have a Christian background. My family consists of very modest Christian people, so sometimes I have to make a decision whether what I’m doing is going to impress them. Sometimes it’s hard, but sometimes I’m very thankful because there are a lot of things that I haven’t done due to my background. I feel like I’m blessed in a way, and then sometimes it’s a pain in the butt.

What do you like to do for fun?

I love to fish more than anything! Sometimes I get bratty when I don’t catch anything. I’m not big into freshwater, because I don’t catch anything when I go freshwater fishing. Fishing is a way to get away, where you can relax and not have to think about anything. I know people say they like to hike, hunt and fish. But I really mean it! If I could make money doing it, I’d hike through the Amazon. I love the outdoors.

Tell us about where you grew up.

Plant City is such a small town and it’s the strawberry capital of the World. It’s kind of funny because people always ask why I talk this way, but people don’t realize that most people from Florida are not originally from Florida. I would never live in a city. I wouldn’t trade a small town for anything.

What advice or words of wisdom do you have?

Never compromise yourself for someone else. If you’re who you are, be who you are. Don’t ever do something that you don’t want to do for someone else.
