University of Kentucky graduate Breann Wood is definitely one tall and refreshing drink of water. This 5’11” statuesque beauty has been athletic since she was a child (when she played soccer, did gymnastics and was a cheerleader as well.) She says that some people may have the old fashioned notion that Kentucky is an unsophisticated place where everyone is “barefoot and pregnant”, but in fact, it’s lots of fun and a party town for college kids (which is a good thing, considering that she loves to go out with her friends and have some beer.) She flaunts her fabulous physique by wearing low rise bottoms with small tops, and bikinis in tropical colors (and confesses that she’d love to see singer Tim McGraw in a swimsuit...) Breann’s favorite motto: “Live for today, not for tomorrow!”

How would you describe yourself?

I would say I’m a fun outgoing person, caring, mostly just fun. For fun I like to go out with my friends and drink beer, lots of beer.

What is it like participating in bikini contests?

The bikini contests are very competitive, the girls show up with their game faces on, there’s not much conversation. The girls are real cutthroat. The competition is all around you, nobody is really friendly.

What kind of guys do you like?

I like nice guys, not too nice, but I do not like cocky guys. I think cocky is such a turnoff.

What are your favorite type of bikinis?

I like tropical colors, I have some Victoria’s Secret tropical color bathing suits, but nobody likes them but me. I like them. I also like low rise bottoms and the little smaller tops.

What is it like being so tall?

I am 5”11 - it’s miserable, being this tall you cant find any pants to fit you. When I was little I had to wear boy pants, cause I was too skinny and tall. They just don’t make pants for tall thin people.

What were you like growing up?

I was actually a soccer player, cheerleader and gymnast. I was really athletic, I wasn’t into playing dolls. I just wanted to get out and kick a ball or something.

You were a cheerleader?

Yes I was a cheerleader. I cheered until junior year when I broke my elbow. I absolutely loved it. It’s like being in the game yourself. I don’t know if I would have cheered in college, I’m just too big, too tall, but I really enjoyed it.

What kind of music do you like?

I listen to every kind of music. I listen to a lot of country music when I’m by myself.

What are you thinking about when you are posing for the camera?

When I pose in front of the camera, not a whole lot is going on in my head except hip out, smile. I’m thinking more about what I’m supposed be doing than anything else.

What are your goals?

My goals? I’ve been in college, I’m a junior now, I go to the University of Kentucky. My goal is just to get my degree. I plan on doing swimsuit contests and pictures for a while but I really want to get my degree, get a job and be a normal person.

What is sexy to you?

Sexy to me as far as the look - I like long hair. I like a voluptuous person. I don’t have much curves so I think curves are nice.

What is Kentucky like?

Kentucky is not at all what people think it is. People’s perspective on Kentucky is how it was in the 70’s or 80’s - that everyone is barefoot and pregnant. But it’s not the case at all. It’s a fun place, we have the Kentucky Derby and lots of assets. It’s a party town for the college kids.

What are your words of wisdom?

This is what my big MTV quote is – “I live for today and not for tomorrow.” Get done what you need to do today cause tomorrow might not be there.

What celebrity would you like to see in a swimsuit?

If I had to see a celebrity in a swimsuit, I think Tim McGraw. He could definitely wear his swimsuit but I know he’s a married man. Also Nick Lachey, Colin Farrell, Keith Irvin. There’s many more but that’s all I can think of.
